Fibromyalgia and Sound Therapy

Fibromyalgia is a chronic illness with no known cause or cure. In truth, it’s a collection of symptoms, which varies from person to person. It causes chronic fatigue, widespread pain, cognitive impairment and a whole host of other issues, ranging from mildly irritating to truly life changing.

one-to-one treatments for fibromyalgia

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 1995, when I was twenty years old. I’ve been through the fear of diagnosis and not knowing how it would play out. I’ve been through the years of trying to hold down a job and pretend everything was normal. I’ve been through the years of such limited mobility and energy that my then 9 year old son had to care for me.

And now I am in a wonderful place where my symptoms are under control, and I can live my life again. I got here using sound therapy and the other tools I share with my clients. I can help you manage your symptoms too.

I can’t cure Fibromyalgia. I can’t make it go away. I can help you get your symptoms under control though.

The best way to do this is through one-to-one treatments. Although you may notice improvements after just one session, it really takes several sessions to make the kind of difference I’m talking about. I offer a package of four treatments initially, over four weeks. After that, if you feel you’d like to continue with sessions, you can add single sessions, at whatever frequency suits you.

Your package includes:

  • an initial 2 hour appointment;
  • three further 1 hour appointments;
  • an essential oil blend made especially for you;
  • a beautiful handmade paper notebook for journaling;
  • other tools and exercises to use at home between appointments;
  • access to my online vault of resources, including videos, audio files, meditations and more.

Packages cost £165.

During these sessions we can work on physical symptoms you experience, as well as the emotional issues you may be experiencing. If there was an emotional trauma trigger to your fibromyalgia, we can work on that as well.

I also run a Fibromyalgia Gong Bath once a month. This can be wonderful for relaxation and feedback shows that clients sleep better and experience less pain after the gong bath. This is a great option for trying sound therapy and seeing if it’s for you.
